Incorrect information? edit

The former lede for this article was ambiguously written, stating that Blitch was the first woman to successfully run for office from Georgia, which was not cited, and I cannot find sources that validate it. I changed the lede to emphasize her (also very impressive) status as the fourth woman to hold office in US Congress. If anyone has a good source for her being the first woman to hold state office in Georgia, please add and revise the lede. (talk) 19:15, 19 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
