User:Jackie60 has twice altered Ms Shubik's year of birth from 1935 to 1929 without providing any verifiable source for this change as required per WP:VERIFY and WP:BLP. There are two separate and reliable sources that give 1935 as Ms Shubik's year of birth: her biography on the website of the British Film Institute and Mark Ward's book on the making of Out of the Unknown to which Ms Shubik contributed extensively. Both sources are referenced in the article. On the occasion of the second edit User:Jackie60 entered the edit summary "Birth date from her birth certificate". Notwithstanding that WP:BLPPRIMARY does not allow the use of such documents as sources, no verifiable source information to accompany this assertion. In the absence of any convincing evidence to the contrary the article has been reverted to reflect the year given by reliable and verifiable sources. --Joe King (talk) 22:18, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
Irene Shubik's date of birth has been incorrectly provided by several sources. As to the correct date of birth, please see UK Incoming Passenger Lists from 1955 which provides her correct date of birth, 26,December 1926. Her birth certificate has the same date. Joe King has not provided primary documentary evidence.----Jackie60Reply
