The result of the move request was: none moved. - Seems myself and others agree Intu shouldn't be used. (non-admin closure)Davey2010(talk) 16:46, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Intu Properties → ? – Since there's confusion with individual shopping centre names here,
Should all Intu articles be renamed "Intu X" (IE Lakeside Shopping Centre → Intu Lakeside, The Glades (Bromley) → Intu Bromley etc etc),
I originally moved some back to there old names per COMMONNAME and this discussion, Cheers –Davey2010(talk) 19:10, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose changing these per WP:COMMONNAME. Leave them alone unless there are sources to show that the Intu name is more commonly used.Charles (talk) 20:41, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
    • @Charlesdrakew: - I meant I had changed them back to the old name ? ... –Davey2010(talk) 16:44, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
      • Yes I was pleased to see you had changed them back. I think the original names should be kept as the common names rather than the Intu promotional crap.Charles (talk) 16:57, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
        • Oh great :), Exactly it is promotional & pointless to use, Thanks for your comments, Regards, –Davey2010(talk) 17:27, 18 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • For example, everybody and most street signs refer to the Trafford Centre (in Manchester (UK)) as the Trafford Centre, nobody adds the word "intu" except a few signs (and presumably some official letterheads and suchlike). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:40, 15 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

definition of shopping centre edit

"intu also launched the UK’s first online shopping centre"

I'd love to know what that means - was it taken from a press release? sheridan (talk) 10:05, 1 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
