Proposed addition to the article. Airing it here first in case of controversy.

The Denver Times investigative journalism showed that the registered agent of the nonprofit church corporation is connected to for-profit Denver cannabis companies called Bang Enterprises/Bang Digital Media. The church property is owned by the founder's parents, and rented to Elevation. Furthermore, Elevation was paid $250,000 by Bang Enterprises for a "licensing and management contract" with bonuses worth up to $1 million.^[1]
