edits to whole article edit
per discussion here, I revised the section based on WP:SECONDARY and WP:TERTIARY sources, and removed reference to Gallo and Smith, who appear to have been engaging in a decades-long battle over who deserves credit for "discovering" IL-2. The former section (see here), and the proposed version (see here, were each perfect examples of how WIkipedia falls prey to WP:OR and non-WP:NPOV content when editors write their own histories using WP:PRIMARY sources. - i went through the rest of the article and rewrote all of it based on secondary sources, instead of primary ones. pretty much done. still need to do the immunsupressive drugs subsection, which has no sources as of nowJytdog (talk) 22:38, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

History: direct quote from textbook edit
The first paragraph of History is a direct quote from an immunology textbook, which violates WP:COPYPASTE 171.66.211.4 (talk) 20:39, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
