I have just a stub article for Integral field spectrograph, an important category of astronomical instrument. I see there was an article of this title which was deleted in 2006. I do not know much about the subject, but hope to be learning more in the near future, so I look forward to adding more substance soon. I find ~30000 hits on Google to the term, so I think it is notable, and deserves coverage. For now I have added a single tutorial web reference, from the Durham group in the UK, which I hope will be considered sufficient verifiability to stave of immediate deletion until I am able to fill it out. I think this article could benefit from some pictures, drawings, sketches, etc.
Rationale edit
As this is a general description of the rationale, I do not think it needs to have sources. There are enough links to other Wikipedia items that have their own sources. So I suggest removing the "This section does not cite any sources" box. RolandBacon (talk) 10:10, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
