Technically, the intro is misleading. Nightmute is six degrees below the Arctic Circle...

Regarding the Ending: The Gun that Shot Dormer edit
The current plot summary describes the ending with a particular detail regarding the gun that Finch shoots Dormer with:
...in a twist of irony, Finch (fatally) shoots Dormer with Dormer's original weapon (which was taken from Dormer to investigate Eckhart's death)...
When watching the movie, I assumed the 'wildcard' gun that Finch shot Dormer with was the one he confiscated from Elle earlier in the scene. During the shootout, Elle is using Dormer's gun.
I do not see how Finch could have come into possession with Dormer's original weapon. This detail should be clarified or removed.
Name edit
