Addition of ammonia? edit

Is it not factual that glutamine donates an NH3 group to FGAR to further aminate the molecule? Chemotron (talk) 03:11, 5 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Chemotron: Well, not exactly. It donates an NH group, or rather, it swaps an NH for an O. And the result is not an amine but an amidine. I have modified the article to be more accurate on this point. Eric Kvaalen (talk) 14:30, 22 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
