"Expert" attention edit

Removed the following "This article needs attention from an expert on the subject. Please add a reason or a talk parameter to this template to explain the issue with the article. WikiProject Molecular and Cellular Biology or the Molecular and Cellular Biology Portal may be able to help recruit an expert. (November 2008)" as the article has been thoroughly improved as part of a university project. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mbe057 (talkcontribs) 13:45, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Grading edit

The MCB WikiProject encourages editors to grade [[1]] articles on completeness and importance. At a cursory glance I think this article merits a 'low' on importance, as the topic is pretty esoteric, and maybe a C or B on completeness. Thoughts? Update: looking at the criteria [[2]] for a B class article, I'd say this one qualifies. I've changed it to B for completeness and low for importance. This is of course open to discussion. InsaneInnerMembrane (talk) 09:27, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Subheading merge? edit

I think the article would be improved by taking the information in the 'Expression', 'Translation' and 'Localization' subheadings and merging it, maybe calling it either 'Expression' og 'Localization'. What are the other editors' thoughts on this? InsaneInnerMembrane (talk) 15:30, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

Are there references for the parts about '...INM proteins have been associated with transcriptional activity...' and '...form attachments to chromatin and nuclear lamins'? I'm gonna remove them if not.InsaneInnerMembrane (talk) 15:54, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Lessened amount of issues edit

As several high-quality sources have been cited, removed "This article has multiple issues. [...]" (Mbe057 (talk) 17:50, 29 March 2012 (UTC))Reply

Remove orphan status edit

I've removed the orphan status of this article, as several articles now link to it (more than three, which seems to be the orphan criterion). Successfully deorphaned! InsaneInnerMembrane (talk) 17:23, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Room for improvement edit

Are there any good articles to support the function of the INM proteins in making the nuclear membrane selectively permeable? Mbe057 (talk) 12:29, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
