Dubious claim

The Swedish Footguards, Svea Livgarde, was raised in 1521 and was the oldest still existing regiment in the world when the Swedish guards regiments were amalgamated in 2000 under the name Swedish Life Guards, with the history and traditions of the old regiments being transfered to the new regiment. Which means that since, if I understood this article correctly, the "1st King's Immemorial Infantry Regiment" wasn't established until 1632 it can't possibly be the oldest regiment in the world... This is not the oldest regiment in the world. It´s a myth. There is no "link" between the medieval unit and the regiment created in 1632. The oldest regiment in the world is the "Regimiento Soria, nº9", created in 1509 like "Tercio de Zamudio" for the Mediterranean campaigns. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.43.59.239 (talk) 15:06, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Organisation

The article claims that the regiment is of four battalions. But the body of the article appears to suggest that the total number of sub-units barely adds up to a battalion. Just how big is it?Royalcourtier (talk) 06:44, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
