SPC Joseph Henry, So What? edit

Wikipedia is not a soapbox for SPC Henry's thoughts on the IOTV. This article should definitely be policed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.146.160.51 (talk) 20:42, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

The above was from me, was not logged in at the time. And to further clarify, my comment and removal of SPC Henry's personal thoughts in the body of the article does not necesarily mean I disagree. It's only that Wikipedia is not meant for some random E-4 to make a statement. Jersey John (talk) 20:45, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Past dated future talk edit

'The US Army is looking into supplementing the heavy IOTV with a new lightweight Modular Body Armor Vest (MBAV), which already in service in Ranger and Airborne units. The MBAV does provide less protection, but is more suitable for patrol in Afghanistan than the IOTV. The first units should begin receiving body armor on May 11, 2009.[5]' ==== The date speaks of the past as if it is future "should begin -- 2009" Should this not be updated with the current usage statistics and otherwise? I'm not equipped to modify the current as I've no knowledge on the subject, but this nonetheless seems odd for an article to do 24.42.194.134 (talk) 01:33, 23 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
