Investor Program for Residence and Citizenship in Bulgaria edit

This sounds like an advertisement. It is no appropriate for an encyclopedia. Regards, 91.92.176.184 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 10:16, 23 February 2012 (UTC).Reply

I removed it. It was partly a legislation and might be notable as such, but the only working source appeared like a homesite of a firm and the article text was also somewhat promotial in tone. Regards, Iselilja (talk) 12:46, 19 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Following the Berlin Congress, the Russian Empire was forced to withdraw its troops from Bulgaria😥😥😥😥😥😥😥 edit

I literally burst in tears. Perhaps the person who wrote this wanted the Russian army to stay here for ever and ever? Just like in all the other lands Mother Russia has fried — starting from Georgia in 1800 and ending with the current special military operation?

It is not only stupid, it is grossly incorrect. The Russians left "military advisers" and administrators (two of whom ruled for almost three years as prime-ministers, but I'm sure it was because they couldn't find anyone else more qualified😋). Actual "specialists" etc. came from Austria-Hungary because they actually had such people, unlike the Russians.

Otherwise, no word about the Macedonian and the Thracian immigration? About the "big return" from Wallachia and Bessarabia? About the refugees from Pirot? About the settlers from Banat? And this is only the first 2-3 years. But Sobolev is mentioned, of course, I mean who could be a better prime-minister than a Russian general who several years later tried to make a pro-Russian coup😊🧡?

I'm wondering if I should just stick it up with multiple issues notices, and maybe I will later.

If someone with a functioning brain (i.e., non-Russophile) ever starts working on the article, it might be a good idea to acually include in it all the refugee waves, since such a page is currently missing, and to go a bit further back in time than our Lord and Protector, General Sobolev. Perhaps not as far as the Pecheneg raids (we can't really call them immigration, can we), but for example, the very well-documented migration of Bulgarians from Southern Albania and Western Macedonia (along with some actual Albanians) in the Late Middle Ages and their settlement across the country — Koprivshtitsa, Bratsigovo, Aydemir, Arbanasi, Zheravna, etc. There is well-written Bulgarian Wikipedia article that can be used: https://bg.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9C%D0%B0%D0%BA%D0%B5%D0%B4%D0%BE%D0%BD%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B0_%D0%B8%D0%BC%D0%B8%D0%B3%D1%80%D0%B0%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%8F_%D0%B2_%D0%91%D1%8A%D0%BB%D0%B3%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%8F VMORO 12:56, 3 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
