Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because...There are several in-depth articles about her in reliable secondary sources, including this Washington Post article [1], this Politico article [2], this Huffington Post article [3] and this Cosmopolitan article [4]. These sources all cover her in more than a trivial or passing way, and establish her notability as head of an influential women's rights organization. --Safehaven86 (talk) 14:42, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

I agree, and I declined the speedy deletion nomination. However, the person could still nominated it for an WP:AFD discussion. I wouldn't recommend it, but they could if they wanted to. FYI. Sergecross73 msg me 14:46, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • I agree, I think she should remain listed as President of the organization. For example, Wikipedia lists Chad Griffin as head of the Human Rights Campaign with a separate article for Mr. Griffin, Wayne LaPierre as head of the NRA. Why is NARAL less notable? The person who recommended it failed to state why.Fritz1543 (talk) 21:39, 15 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
