Persistent accessibility issues edit

@NathanielTheBold and Smitty1999: I keep on adding in accessibility features per MOS:DTAB and you keep on removing them. I am under a zero revert restriction, so I will not be undoing your removal, but can you explain why you think it's better that this article doesn't have table captions or semantic roles for rows? Why do you keep on removing these and how are they an improvement? Please undo your edits and restore them. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:08, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I took a look at the edits that you are complaining about, and I am afraid that I do not agree with you. The "caption" function, described in MOS:DTAB, is adequately addressed by the section headings, here, which give visually impaired people adequate explanation of what is to follow. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:03, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
You are mistaken: they are semantically not the same. They do not mean the same thing, are not used the same by screen readers, and I would be very interested to see any source by anyone familiar with accessibility who says the same thing as you. Do you have any such source or is this just your opinion? Did you know anything about table captions or web accessibility prior to this at all? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 04:29, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I think you are missing the spirit of the guideline. Happy to hear others' views. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:31, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
That doesn't answer my questions. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 04:35, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Critical response edit

A critical response section is needed for this article. Here is a good place to find reviews: Rosky, Nicole. "Review Roundup: Illinoise Arrives on Broadway", BroadwayWorld, April 26, 2024 -- Ssilvers (talk) 16:42, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
