To make it clear edit

@Dark Liberty: To make it clear, Ideology means "A system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy". To say that this article doesn't discuss the party's system of ideas (maosim, Marxism etc) and ideals (Socialist civilization, modernity etc) is outrageous --TIAYN (talk) 07:42, 2 September 2014 (UTC).Reply

The Ideology section edit

The ideology section looks like it betrayed NPOV. It's here not to argue, but to provide and should be as such. Anantagita (talk) 16:58, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

The feminist views section needs work edit

There are WP:NPOV issues with that section in that it seems to have been cherry-picked from a couple of Anti-Chinese memoirs. The fact that 21st century improvements in womens' equality have been reduced to just "factory girls" is a particularly galling example. I don't know when I'll have time to dig through sources to provide some much needed balance; but that section is not there yet. Simonm223 (talk) 12:21, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Yes, there's a bunch of problems with it. For one, the most prominent woman in the party was obviously Jiang Qing, not Xiang Jingyu. But feminism/views on women is not covered elsewhere in the article, so the section does merit inclusion. 92.34.128.48 (talk) 16:45, 8 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
The introduction of this section was the result of an edit conflict at History of the Communist Party of China. Now, however, that conflict has been resolved, with the creation of the article Feminism in Chinese Communism. Hence, this section is now superfluous to the present article. 92.34.159.9 (talk) 14:10, 1 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Insert Section Detailing Current Political Ideology and Article Organization edit

A potential section addition to the ideology page could be a section covering the Chinese Communist Party's current ideology as it is today. There is a section in the article detailing Xi Jinping's views and fourteen points of basic policy, but there is no mention of the current party as it is today. Adding a section like this could add some more context about China's current ideology and economic standpoint, and give a perspective on Chinese culture as it is today. The article itself should also be organized in a different way, there are sections that do not connect very well together, for example, the section on Xi Jinping's 14 points on policy seems to be randomly added into the section. One way this can be changed is if the sections are organized in a way based on time changes and who is leading China at the time. Joemamma36 (talk) 17:17, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
