Using the title of Dr? edit
I looked up this scientist after chatting with German colleagues about the usage of the title "Doctor" in Germany. I vaguely recalled the story and internet provided the details missing in my memory. I did not add a section in his bio, because I cannot decide what would be best: from one hand side, Baldwin's scientific focus and achievements should surely be the main point of his bio. From the other hand side, me, a scientist from another area, only heard of him in connection to being cautioned by German authorities, and thus he is in my view famous for being made an example pointing out a weird German law. Thus, seeing that not even a single sentence has been spent on this in the main summary felt like a deliberate and perhaps unfortunate omission.
