Add a redirect thingy? edit

Could someone add a redirect to Tom Wait's Bone Machine album and possibly to the Romones last album too? Both have a song with the same name as this album and could be useful... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.161.205.91 (talk) 02:33, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Or, for that matter, "I won't grow up" from Peter Pan (1954 musical). They're all pretty similar titles, and easily confused (that's what I was actually looking for when I stumbled upon this article). --FZ (talk) 02:09, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Frank Navetta edit

Having just done a major rewrite of the article, there's an issue I want to address: The previous version credited Frank Navetta with playing guitar on the songs "I Don't Want to Grow Up", "Rockstar", and "No FB". However, I couldn't find any source to back this up. I have all of the albums, and the liner notes of this one only credit Navetta with writing the lyrics to "Rockstar"; they don't credit him with playing anything. They only list Ray Cooper as guitar player. Further, the liner notes to Somery explicitly credit Cooper with playing guitar on "I Don't Want to Grow Up", not Navetta ("Rockstar" and "No FB" aren't included on Somery). The band's own FAQ and the All/Descendents Family Shrub both state that during the hiatus of 1983-1985, Navetta burned all of his equipment and moved to Oregon. How, then, could he have recorded 3 of the tracks on I Don't Want to Grow Up, which was recorded in June of 1985 while he was in Oregon? Since the album's liner notes and the "family shrub" both only list Lombardo, Cooper, Stevenson, and Aukerman with performing on the album, I've removed Navetta from the "Personnel" section. If someone cares to present a reliable source verifying that Navetta played on any tracks, I'm happy to reconsider it. --IllaZilla (talk) 20:06, 7 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dropping a source here for later use in adding to this and other Descendents arcticles:

Pep talk in tributes? edit

Pep talk isn’t on this album, it’s on the ALL record. Should the mention of a cover be removed? 2601:182:D000:3920:D5C2:42D2:3218:34E0 (talk) 23:54, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
