Early comment

the Elder Delp (talk) 07:22, 13 December 2009 (UTC) I added the beginnings of a timeline and updated some of the contents. I also put references in to some of the assertions.

Additional text on the concepts will be very useful.

Source for December 2009?

The sources say it was started in 2007, not 2009 as claimed. See proposed merge article Unified Power Format for better formatting and sourcing. I perhaps should refrain from speculating, but a Gary Delp from Rochester, Minnesota seemed to have taken over as chair of this group in late 2009. W Nowicki (talk) 23:52, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

It looks like the 2009 effort was just a follow-on. Many of the sources given here were dead (or not available) so I went ahead and did the merge. W Nowicki (talk) 19:08, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
