Article has a small anti-Islamic pov, understandable considering the source. --Striver 15:36, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

What aspect of the article is anti-Islamic? The source ultimately are the hadiths themselves. Are the Hadiths anti-Islamic?Briangotts (Talk) (Contrib) 16:19, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Its the tone, for example, " who reportedly threw his cloak over her to mark her as his posession; she became one of his wives.". That could just as well be interptreted as "giving her protection", "Honouring her" or anything. " to mark her as his posession", is anti islamic pov. --Striver 21:30, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
That's sourced, while your claims are original research. Pecher Talk 21:31, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, the source is not exactly NPOV either, is it`?--Striver 21:39, 30 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Sources are either reliable or unreliable, not POV or NPOV. Original research, however, is unacceptable in any case. Pecher Talk 14:48, 8 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

The debate about Safiya is irrelevant to this article. The article is "Huyayy ibn Akhtab". Huyayy was executed in 627, more than a year before Muhammad threw his cloak over Safiya. (The article's statement that Huyayy was among the captives taken from Khaybar to Medina is not correct.) This debate should be moved to the "Safiya bint Huyayy" page.Grace has Victory (talk) 01:02, 9 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the 5 year old POV tag. If anyone still has problems, feel free to re-add it. -- LWG talk 17:42, 10 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
