{{editprotected}} Wouldn't it make more sense for the redirect to point to the section Tropical cyclone#Hurricane or typhoon than to the top of the article? A. di M. (talk) 01:21, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

I'm not convinced. Often these terms are used loosely and it seems likely that someone looking for "hurricane" will want general information about hurricanes, not the detailed definition.
