Onteora edit

I note a settlement named Onteora Park, for which we apparently don't have an article. There is also an Onteora Scout Reservation, a Boy Scout camp that also lacks an article—it almost certainly deserves one—mentioned at Scouting in New York). It is in Livingston Manor, New York. Does anyone know the geographical relation among these places? There are quite a few other places also called Onteora, I assume it was an Indian name (certainly sounds Algonquian), but we seem to have no relevant article.

If someone works on this, could you ping my user talk page, since I haven't really been maintaining a watchlist lately? Thanks. - Jmabel | Talk 18:52, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
