Talk:Houston Methodist Hospital

Just one of the Methodist Hospitals edit

It seems the authors are not aware that there are several hospitals called "Methodist Hospital" in the Methodist healthcare system. The one in Houston may (arguably) be the largest or more important one, but several of the others are nothing to scoff at. As such, this article's title is very misleading. I would suggest to move this article to "The Methodist Hospital (Houston)" and to create a disambiguation page at "Methodist Hospital". 75.64.204.13 (talk) 17:04, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi! I know this is going to be late, but... There may be multiple Methodist hospitals. However unless there are additional notable ones (ones that would pass Wikipedia:Notability guidelines) then there is no need to change the title. If there are multiple notable Methodist hospitals and they are equally prominent with the Houston one, then it would need to be moved. If there are multiple Methodist hospitals, but the one in Houston is by far more prominent, then the Houston one would stay in the same place, but there would be a disambiguation page for the others WhisperToMe (talk) 20:44, 4 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

More pictures available edit

Full disclosure: I work for The Methodist Hospital System. Our organization would be happy to provide pictures for use on this Wikipedia page. For example, we have pictures of the various towers and buildings at The Methodist Hospital, shot from multiple angles, as well as historic pictures going back to 1924. We also have images of the Outpatient Center and Research Institute. Should anyone want those images for use on this Wikipedia page, send an email to jplauritzen@tmhs.org referencing Wikipedia. --206.83.48.110 (talk) 13:02, 4 May 2012 (UTC) JasonReply
