Article name uses singular, Koran only plural edit

... so is the singular form OK? Considering it is, I adapted the intro to reflect this, but is it? Arminden (talk) 15:43, 18 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Confusing use of what seems to be the singular, see section on hadith: "descriptions of houri (or ḥūr)". If indeed the singular form, shouldn't it read "a houri" or "the houri", so with an English article? It stinks of "insider stuff", implying that either you speak koranic Arabic or you're the sucker and can be ignored. We're on enWiki here. Arminden (talk) 16:00, 18 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Have you resolved this now? Speaking of en.wiki, why the "Koran" speak? This hasn't been a common spelling in English since the 1980s. Surely better to use standard spellings in questions? Iskandar323 (talk) 22:45, 18 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Koran quotations edit

The Koran "quotations": all the referenced source are only partially quoted in literal manner, all are reworded or paraphrased, so quotation marks seem to be misleading. Arminden (talk) 15:53, 18 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
