re: best known church edit

I find the quote that the Crystal Cathedral is estimated to be the best known church in the world rather doubtable. Does anybody have a source to that? What about St. Peter in Rome or the Agia Sophia in Constantinople and many other churches of highest importance to Christianity? Are these believably less known than Crystal Cathedral? As I said: rather doubtable.

The article didn't say best known church, it said "one of the most popular Christian television programs." By the way, I find the evangelical criticism here rather weak. Many people come to Christ via programs like these. Isn't this the fulfillment of the great commission? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gjohnson21 (talkcontribs) 16:34, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Guests edit

I don't think it is the aim of Robert Schuller to just have Protestant "evangelical Christians" appear on the program. Nor are Protestants the only Christians who are "evangelical" - Catholics and Orthodox Christians spread the Gospel too!

The programme has a history of welcoming all types of Christians on the program and having all types of Christians view the program.

Catholic Archbishop Fultan Sheen preached in the Church when he was alive.

Mother Teresa was a guest on the program. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.184.72.161 (talk) 02:03, 4 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Money was not borrowed to stage Creation. Source of this information is not cited. edit

It is untrue and unfounded that Creation was in any way related to the financial instability of the ministry. Rather, money was borrowed to purchase HD TV equipment. Please remove this claim as no source is cited - it is libelous. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.184.114.245 (talk) 16:25, 26 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Finances edit

Edit needed: Due to their money issue the Catholic church Catholic Church buy the church

What is now in the past is written as if it is in the future edit

Much of the section about the Catholic Diocese of Orange purchasing the the Crystal Cathedral and converting and remodeling it to be suitable for use as a Catholic Cathedral is written as if the change is in the future. In fact, the conversion and remodeling is complete, and Christ Cathedral was dedicated in 2019. 96.42.73.80 (talk) 18:28, 13 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
