Do Not Merge - Better to have smaller separate articles than one overly-broad article. I feel the topic is well covered here and does not significantly overlap other similar article for other food stuffs. 12.9.33.195 (talk) 17:36, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
I don't think merging is a good idea either. Hot dog carts are very recognizeable and worth a separate topic and combining the two topics will cause the resulting article to become too large. - Mgm|(talk) 01:02, 5 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Some people who visit this article are probably interested in starting a cart and would likely be wondering about license requirements for a startup as compared to a restaurant or selling at a farmer's market. The article mentions health inspections being required, but nothing about needing a vending license or whatever.
