Fair use rationale for Image:Horizon (ENT episode).jpg edit

Image:Horizon (ENT episode).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:05, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • No DAB links, no dead links
  • What makes TrekWeb.com a reliable resource? Other than that I'm OK with the sources presented.
  • TrekWeb is one of the oldest ongoing Star Trek websites, having been created in 1996. Its founder and editor Steve Krutzler is used on occasion as a Star Trek subject expert, such as in a Time magazine article here. It is one of only four fan produced websites endorsed by the Official Star Trek website here. Miyagawa (talk) 14:03, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Critical response was mixed, and the episode received the lowest ratings for a first-run episode of the series so far, having been viewed by 3.36 million viewers. I think you can remove the "having been" and be no worse off. Does this include season one?
  • Changed as suggested. Season one received the highest ratings of any series of Enterprise. The series suffered from quite a drop off in ratings over the four years. Miyagawa (talk) 13:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • At the direction of Starfleet, the Enterprise makes a 30 light-year detour to a planet passing between two gas planets as the gravitational forces on the planet should cause heavy volcanic activity. too many planets, I would change "two gas planets" to "two gas giants" and maybe link.
  • Travis identifies that the device would explode if they try to remove it, and it is revealed that this follows the pattern of other attacks on cargo vessels nearby I don't understand this sentence.
  • Split into two and re-worded the second half. "Travis identifies that the device would explode if they try to remove it. It is revealed that other cargo vessels nearby had tracking devices placed on them before being attacked once more". Miyagawa (talk) 13:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • What relevance does the third paragraph bear on the plot?
  • Not a great deal, I've reduced it down to a single sentenced and merged it into the second paragraph. Miyagawa (talk) 13:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Reference 2 uses European dating while all the others use American.
  • That isn't actually a European date - the 19 is actually the page. The two threes are the volume and the issue (both 3). The date is given as November, 2003. Miyagawa (talk) 13:25, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I will re-look when these comments are responded to. Albacore (talk) 12:44, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
