I'm confused. It's called the City Mk IV in which markets? How could the City be a rebranded Honda Fit if the Honda Fit is actually a rebranded Honda Jazz? Jmissig 05:04, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Timeline 1981-85: kei car?

I note that the timeline seems to list the City/Jazz as a kei car as well as a subcompact. But the '81 City had a 1.2 litre engine and kei cars at that time were limited to 550cc - so it wouldn't qualify. 58.104.60.83 12:20, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

why is the city underpowered in india?

the honda city vtec is a 100 bhp car in india, but 110 in other asian markets.. and this is a vtec which is supposed to be about power.

Split (and merge) this page?

I think that the 1981-1994 Honda City (first two generations) should be on its own separate page, as it sat in a different market segment entirely: Much smaller and aimed at the Japanese domestic market, vis a vis the later saloons which are considerably larger and aimed specifically at developing markets. Wow, that was a while ago. I made the City AA article and had intended to make one for the second gen as well. My question now is what we would title the resulting articles? Honda City in China

There IS Honda City in China, manufactured by Guangzhou Honda http://www.ghac.cn/vehicles/honda/city

In addition, there is a derived model, with quite different design, known as "Greiz", manufactured by Dongfeng Honda http://www.dongfeng-honda-greiz.com/

Honda City in the compact car size segment

When the size of the Honda City is bigger and being too close to the size of the E120/E130 series Toyota Corolla, starting with the fifth generation in 2008, the City had moved into the compact car size segment.
