Album cover edit

The album cover of "Parsley..." can't be the right one here, or?Johannes Wich-Schwarz 23:47, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Homeward Bound was on the original US release of "Parsley...". In the UK and perhaps elsewhere it was added onto "Sounds of Silence", but I would suggest that, unlike with the Beatles, the US editions of S&G albums should be seen as definitive.

Fair use rationale for Image:ParsleySage.jpg edit

Image:ParsleySage.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. London? edit

The article repeatedly says that Simon was in London, but then says Simon had just performed in Liverpool (a couple of hundred miles away) and the song was written in Widnes (between Liverpool and Manchester). It also says that Simon performed in Brentwood, Essex (again, not in London).

What is the connection to London here? Or should "London, England" just be replaced by "England"? Marchino61 (talk) 10:03, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Widnes Station? edit

Ditton Station in Widnes is on the Liverpool to London line. The Widnes station in the article is on the Liverpool to Manchester line. If Paul Simon was to catch a train to London, he would have to have certainly been at the correct railway station, Ditton station. I have tried to add this factual information but it has been undone?. Steved1973 (talk) 14:56, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have changed the text to say a station near Widnes. Without a reliable published sourced saying he was at Ditton it is original research and can not be included per WP:NOR and WP:V.Charles (talk) 20:23, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
This is also under discussion at Talk:Widnes railway station#Paul Simon and Homeward Bound. Please respect WP:MULTI. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:41, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
