I added a Buddhism section as I know a bit about it but yeah this article still feels a little bare, could do with more religions being included.86.184.166.26 (talk) 01:23, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

Can we add a scholarly reference for this. I am sure someone has a reference because so many books have been written on this subject. The current ref does not mention it. Not to mention it is not a R.S for this kind of statement. I am not sure but the date seems a little too Early to be valid. --Inayity (talk) 19:45, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

Merging opinion

I think the list of religious sites is more of a focus on the place a religion is practiced and the holy places article has sites that a religion may value, require pilgrimage to, or are said by their religious text to be sacred. Dhov1901 (talk) 05:11, 04 December 2015 (UTC)

• Support. This article title does not seem to fall under any of the exceptions to our default use of singular titles listed at WP:PLURAL.
