"one of only two churches"

I think the statement "one of only two churches designed by Louis Sullivan" needs clarification. For one, what was the other church? I suppose it is St. Paul's in Cedar Rapids, even though according to this article by Blair Kamen it started out as a Sullivan design — but he resigned the commission rather than alter a plan that was beyond the congregation's budget. Another architect finished the project.

Also, the "two churches" comment omits at least two Jewish temples that Adler & Sullivan designed together, Zion Temple and K.A.M. Isaiah Israel Temple (later Pilgrim Baptist Church). Yes, I know churches and temples aren't quite the same thing, but if we infer "churches" to mean "houses of worship" in general, the statement is clearly false. Interiors based on St. Volodymyr Cathedral, Kiev

An examination of the interiors of the two churches, even on the evidence offered in the Wiki articles, provides few similarities. A citation, at the very least is required. (Arkhitekt (talk) 01:06, 12 August 2010 (UTC))

With reference to the above comment, I am also cautious with respect to the supposed design connection of Holy Trinity with St. Volodymyr's Cathedral in Kiev. I wonder if there could have been a confusion with the SS Volodomyr and Olha Church, a much larger building of the Ukrainian Catholic Church not far away in Chicago? A publication of the Holy Trinity Cathedral itself points to a rural church in Siberia as the main inspiration for Holy Trinity's design, and I have substituted a reference to this account (with citation) in the present article. Possibly misleading labeling of photographs: described as Russian and Greek

I see that some of the photographs used in this article describe it as the "Holy Trinity Russian & Greek Orthodox Church". Is the description "and Greek" correct? I do not think the Greeks and Russians normally share a church in this way. Can anyone clarify this issue? Nandt1 (talk) 15:15, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
