Should this page be about the Oak King as well? edit

Hey all. I was wondering, would it not make more sense to make this page about the Holly King AND the Oak King, seeing as they are a part of the same myth? (Midnightblueowl (talk) 21:11, 21 December 2008 (UTC))Reply

I agree entirely. I would move the page to Holly King and Oak King, change the entry in the Holly King dab page, and create an Oak King redirect. If you like that idea, I suggest you just do it, since no-one else has had any other opinions... Happy new year! Fuzzypeg 04:27, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Major Rewrite Needed edit

The concept of the Holly King has nothing to do with folklore or mythology and can't be viewed as an archetype since such pertains to the work of Carl Jung. In reality, the figure of the Holly King was entirely invented by Robert Graves in his book, The White Goddess. The article needs to be rewritten to reflect the truth of the origin of Holly King. There can be a Wiccan/Neopagan section, but it needs to be stated that neopagans have adopted the Holly King in the false belief that such is actually a creature from actual folklore.BoyintheMachine (talk) 00:31, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
