Needs improvements

There's still a lot that could be added to this article such as info on merchandise, character bio, info about Kick-Ass 2, etc. I was hoping that other editors who knew more about those things than I do could help out. For An Angel (talk) 20:45, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

comics and movies

Mindy's Age

What exactly is Mindy's age? In KA2 (comic) she is referred to as being 11, yet in Hit Girl (which is set before KA2) she is referred to as being 12. (46.204.72.134 (talk) 21:06, 28 October 2013 (UTC))

• I just reviewed WP:NCC regarding if the character article should be at the title with the "(comics)" disambiguator; according to my interpretation of the page, that disambiguator should only be used in the event that it is the only article related to comics, which it is not since the comic book article exists. (I may be interpreting this in a manner that others don't, but from what I saw on WP:NCC, the disambiguator "(comics)" is mentioned at the top of the guideline, then not mentioned again.) However, I left the Hit-Girl (comic book) redirect I created intact since it is a proper redirect. Steel1943 (talk) 13:38, 14 August 2014 (UTC)

• @Fortdj33: In addition to what I just said in my last comment, I would actually say that most likely, the subject of the article currently at Hit-Girl (character) may be the primary topic for the term "Hit-Girl" (per the other existing entries on the disambiguation page Hit-Girl). I would agree that the character article is probably the primary topic, so I would support moving Hit-Girl (character) to Hit-Girl and moving Hit-Girl to Hit-Girl (disambiguation). But, I only suggested moving the comic book article, because Hit-Girl (comics) was already in use. • Oppose NCC makes it very ambiguous to the general reader as to the topic of this article, so seems to fail WP:CRITERIA in this case. WP:RF we are not serving the readership with ambiguously disambiguating characters from eponymous comic books. • Oppose this obviously tendentious move request. I mean, for Christ's sake, the "Film" section is longer than the "Comics" section! I'm not opposed to a move to Hit-Girl, as it is clearly the WP:PRIMARY subject—Hit Girl (song) is unhyphenated, and thus dealt with best with a hatnote.
  Of course, what's worst about this move is the fact that it was a stealth tendentious edit done in response to the discussion at Wolverine (character)—proposed as an Uncontroversial technical request made less than an hour after I'd pointed out Kick-Ass (character). • Oppose per WP:PRECISION - the title should be sufficiently precise to unambiguously identify the article's subject and distinguish it from other subjects, which doesn't happen between (comics) and (comic book). Take a look at the related Kick-Ass, which does the right thing: Kick-Ass (comics) for the comic and Kick-Ass (character) for the character. Turning those around doesn't make sense.

I agree with moving this article to Hit-Girl, it gets way more than ten times the number of page hits of the other two pages combined (which would be the bare minimum to have a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC with respect to usage). Diego (talk) 07:36, 16 August 2014 (UTC)

• Comment re: (comic book) vs (comics)---I think we should open a discussion at the WP:COMICS talk page about this. My gut reaction was that the Hit-Girl comic book should remain at (comic book), but thinking about it, I don't think the publishing format is necessarily the best dab to use---after all, years after the series ceases, it will likely remain in print in collected form (call it graphic novels or TPBs or what have you). I doubt this is limited to 'Hit-Girl. (comics), however, could be parsed as Hit-Girl in comics, which is not the intended scope (unless someone wants to rewrite the article from that angle---I won't comment whether that's appropriate or not). Chloe's age as of filming

On this article it claims Chloe was 11 at the time of filming Kick-Ass, however the filming would have happened in the end months of 2009, making her at least 12 years old nearly 13. Easy math if you look at her birthday, which is Feb 10 1997. It needs fixing up.121.74.147.60 (talk) 11:00, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
