Original name restored edit

I moved this page back to its original name from the rather contrived History of the British Isles, which simply added information from the History of Ireland page when somebody unilaterally changed the page to the former name. Dunlavin Green (talk) 06:13, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

DO NOT do copy-paste moves. Take it to talk~, and ask for the move. -- Petri Krohn (talk) 06:55, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Where was the initial request to move it to 'History of the British Isles' and thereafter duplicate the new article with information from the History of Ireland page (a breach of wikipedia's rules at any rate)? There was none. So, why the double standard now?Dunlavin Green (talk) 07:11, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I reverted and protected this page, edit warning isn't the way to do it. Try to form consensus in the talk page. Secret account 15:00, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Double redirect edit

I've made History of Britain a redirect so this is now a double redirect and needs fixing. jnestorius(talk) 20:52, 13 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
