Hinge

This article doesn't even come close to being sufficent.
There are about 20 different kinds of hinges. Constant Torque hinges, Position Hinges, Detent Hinges, Friction Hinges. etc... I hope some engineer can add to this.
- This article, to the contrary, is beginning to look excessive. Fasteners is already. When an article begins to look like a requisition catalog, it is more of a "How to" than an encyclopedia article.75.45.97.90 (talk) 18:59, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
Should this article be split into theoretical hinges and physical, hardware hinges? maybe there's already a page for theoretical joints, including hinges. Joecycle (talk) 01:32, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
