English and 'Globalisation': too vague?
Was wondering about the rise of English in Indian songs as a result of 'globalisation'. Wouldn't the use of English as a lingua-franca in India itself, also, spur its use in Indian popular culture? And don't forget the ethnic subcontinental diaspora in east Africa, London, the United States, Trinidad etc etc etc. I'm not sure how I'd reword it - I am not personally knowledgeable enough - but I suggest more nuance here. --Zimriel (talk) 20:54, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

The article should mention that Bollywood mainly gained popularity and revenues thru indian diaspora in england and surinamese diaspora in the netherlands. Was wondering how come Jacqueline Fernandez is listed as a renowned contemporary dancer instead of Katrina Kaif? Katrina Kaif is known for her dancing skills and has numerous hits to her name. She is considered one of the best female dancers in this generation.
