Can the title of this page be changed to Hexthorpe or Hexthorpe Platform as the word "railway" is superfluous? The Wikipedia listing of Disused stations shows it as Hexthorpe. I have no opening date.! Although the listing of stations shows it as closed in 1855 it appears the platform was still in existence when the accident took place. @Steamybrian2: If the word "platform" appeared on the nameboards, it should really be Hexthorpe Platform railway station; if not, Hexthorpe railway station. These are in accordance with WP:NCUKSTATIONS. --Redrose64 (talk) 23:55, 2 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
