  • Not that he would be the first historical figure with a dearth of childhood information, but there is a 22-year gap from birth to his father's coronation.

  • I would consider it encyclopedic to add references for the present-day equivalents of some of these locales. For example, Beroca, it might help to add a note giving its contemporaneous location.
In a lot of these places, the exact spot is unknown, or it is just simply ruins.
