Appearance for Shropshire

I question, though it is cited to crickinfo, the statement he appreared non-first class for Shropshire County Cricket Club in 1909. There was at the time no such club - the previous incarnation of the club under that name ended in 1905 after which a Gentlemen of Shropshire team represented the county in successive seasons up to the 1950s. However, Tony Percival, in Shropshire Cricketers 1844-1998 records he appeared for Shropshire County Cricket Club on one match in 1893. Thank you for reworking the Shropshire mention, I hadn't noticed the anachronism at that time of night - perhaps it was a namesake who appeared in 1909 but Percival's work does not incorporate those who only played in the Gentlemen of Shropshire years. I have added the book as a supplementary citation, it also mentions he played below first class for Buckinghamshire.Cloptonson (talk) 08:46, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
