I have added a composer stub tag to this article. No biographical information exists for this composer. As Mr. Chappell was a British composer, it might be beneficial if someone in the UK with a good knowledge of British composers will add some historical data for this composer (birthplace, parents, schooling, life, career, etc.). Done - added early biographical details, many more references to and further details of his educational music activities and his career as a BBC music film producer. There are photos, but none in the public domain that I can find. Sfjohna (talk) 13:18, 16 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
