More sources and support for extraordinary claims edit
This article claims that Duffield was the moving force behind the start of the Veterans Cemetery system. If this is so we might want sources that support this. It also basically says he was the fiscal originator of the Detroit Oubluc Library. Asource supporting this claim would be nice. I am not sure any of the cases he was involved with as Detroit city attorney have articles, if they do we need yo link to them. Needs more rewrite edit
I have removed most of the Manual of style violating uses of titles. The article still has way too much unacknowledged direct quotes. We need yo more clearly source the materials on his role in late 19th-century Detroit legal matters. Also more sources on his role in political conventions would be nice. On the other hand I am thinking the fact he attended multiple Reoublican conventions as a non-delegate borders on the teivial.
