Incorrect opinion on notability edit
Kämpfe was one of only 631 German soldiers to recieve the Close Combat Clasp in Gold. Out of 18-20 million troops that is a notable achievement. It's also more notable that it was his death which instigated the Oradour-sur-Glane massacre. It's very disingenuous to suggest it was just a "kidnapping". Death of Helmut Kampfe edit
The statement on the English site that Kampfe "was burnt alive in front of an audience" does not agree with the narrative of the reference (3) given. Further it differs from the account given on the French language page. This needs to be sorted out. 176.181.121.44 (talk) 13:50, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
