editThis attempted entry illustrates the difficulties of any discussion of Robert Johnson. Most fans are aware of a myth which grew up long after his death. His influence in recent years contrasts with his extreme obscurity when alive. He has a deserved reputation for great originality, and yet he was highly derivative in both his songs and his style. Use of bottleneck (slide)
editI believe that no slide device such as bottleneck was used on the recording and all pitch altered notes were done by string bending. This is borne out by tablature transcriptions I have seen (reference to follow). WestNab (talk) 12:39, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
Mis-titling of entry
