Untitled edit

Note: The initial text of this article was copy-and-pasted from Hellfire Club on 12 December 2003. See the edit history of that article for details of who wrote it. -- UtherSRG 05:12, 12 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Harry Leland edit

Harry Leland was NOT killed by Wolverine during the Dark Phoenix Saga. Harry Leland died of a heart attack in Uncanny X-Men #209 while attempting to destroy the time-travelling Sentinel, Nimrod. I wouldn't nitpick this but it happens to be one of my favorite scenes. -- mojo_iv 07:41 Nov 2005 (PST)

Adrienne edit

Adrienne Frost was never part of the Club. She merely took up the "White Queen" codename to mock Emma. [User:Gonzalo84|Gonzalo84]] 08:13 2 Dec 2005

Former members edit

The "Former Members" section hould only include notable former members. And we don't need a slashmark with their title (ie 'Black King') either. --DrBat 01:35, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Picture edit

Seeing as the "Hellfire Club" from Astonishing X-Men No. 15 turned out to be fake, shouldn't it not be the picture on this page?

I agree. Hopefully there is a useable picture with the most noteable members, such as Shaw, Magneto, Emma and Tessa. Lots42 10:34, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Self-Reminder edit

Since several of the guards and staff have become noteable characters in their own right, they should have links and such. If no one disagrees, I'll work on it later. Lots42 10:40, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Astonishinghellfire.PNG edit

Image:Astonishinghellfire.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

List of Hellfire Club members edit

You may want to consider splitting off the member list into List of Hellfire Club members, similar to the articles in the "Lists of Marvel characters by organization" category. 207.229.140.148 (talk) 02:25, 8 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cassandra Nova? edit

um, was Cassandra Nova ever a Hellfire Club member? I thought she put something in Emma Frost's mind and those were just Emma Frsot's telepathy

Ultimate Hellfire Club edit

I thought the Hellfire Club was turned into crispy fried bits by a mentally ill Jean Grey. If this was retconned, it should be noted that the Club was -seemingly- destroyed. Lots42 (talk) 23:48, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:New Hellfire.jpg edit

The image Image:New Hellfire.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --03:24, 23 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hellfire Cult edit

Is it confirmed that this is an off-shoot of the Hellfire Club? (Emperor (talk) 22:46, 19 October 2008 (UTC))Reply

Elias Bogan edit

you forgot to mention Elias Bogan...One of the hellfire cub founders, and one of the best marvel x-men villains —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.103.83.231 (talk) 14:29, 29 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dress code edit

"The Hellfire Club as such adheres to an 18th century dress code. "

Riiiight. Emma Frost's bodice and panties are just what the victorian women all wore. Right it line with an "18th century dress code." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:30A:C08C:A6F0:21C:B3FF:FEC3:2572 (talk) 02:46, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Marvel Knights Motion Comics edit

This seems to be missing a reference to the Hellfire Club's appearance in the Marvel Knights Motion Comics from 2010.

Franchises across America? edit

I vaguely remember a comic detailing how the Hellfire Club had franchises across America. Anyone remember this? Lots42 (talk) 02:36, 2 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
