confusing sentence

"together with his sister's Pandora's and Thyia's sons" This line is confusing. Does it refer to the sisters of Hellen? Xuthus? Also, the apostrophe in "sister's" is not necessary. It would read more cleanly if it said "together with the sons of his sisters Pandora and Thyia" (after indicating who's sisters they are). Hraesvelgr 01:15, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Melanippe Wise and The Family Tree

" In the play, Melanippe, the daughter of Aeolus (and thus the granddaughter of Hellen), becomes by Poseidon the mother of twins, Aeolus and Boeotus. " Are there two people called Aeolus or did Melanipple give birth to her own mother? Also there is no mention of Boeotus in the family tree diagram below this section. There are a number of figures called Aeolus in Greek mythology; these two are distinct, as indicated by the links to their respective pages. As to the family tree, there are numerous conflicting versions of the genealogies of these characters, something no such chart could capture entirely, but I think the current chart (largely based upon Apollodorus, and given by the two modern sources cited) is still helpful as a visual aid. – Michael Aurel (talk) 23:30, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
