Hypnotherapist

I remember reading, watching some tv programs which said Helen Reddy is also a hypnotherapist. I may be wrong.

Gay Icon Project

In my effort to merge the now-deleted list from the article Gay icon to the Gay icons category, I have added this page to the category. I engaged in this effort as a "human script", adding everyone from the list to the category, bypassing the fact-checking stage. That is what I am relying on you to do. Please check the article Gay icon and make a judgment as to whether this person or group fits the category. By distributing this task from the regular editors of one article to the regular editors of several articles, I believe that the task of fact-checking this information can be expedited. Thank you very much. Philwelch 21:53, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Oh come on you guys

Olivia Newton Hypen John was a huge star before she ever went skinny-dipping at Helen Reddy's house. By the time this happened--

"Newton-John won the starring role of "Sandy" in the hit film version of the musical Grease after a chance meeting with the film's producer Allan Carr at a party at Reddy's house."

--she already had a ton of country and pop hits, and was the darling of millions of fans. This quote makes it sound like she accidentially fell into that movie. On the contrary, that movie would not have been the classic it is without her.Jarhed (talk) 09:14, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Reddy Surname

Is she part South Indian? Reddy is a common South Indian last name. 161.185.151.150 (talk) 16:53, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Those wonderful 70's

I mean, who could deny it was a wonderful era. She stood for so much, including women's rights:

In a 1975 People interview Reddy admitted her relationship with then husband and manager Jeff Wald was volatile with the couple having "huge, healthy fights" but that she owed her success – she was then the world's most successful female vocalist for two years running – to Wald: "He runs it all. Naturally when the moment of performance comes I have to deliver — but everything else is him. It's not my career; it's our career." By 2 January 1981, Reddy and Wald had separated, with Wald moving into a Beverly Hills rehab facility to treat an eight-year addiction to cocaine.

She was a symbol of rebellion against male domination, I'm here to tell you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.21.182.21 (talk) 10:04, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

Live Performances?

It looks like Helen has returned to live performances -- http://www.psmuseum.org/palm-springs/performance/helen-reddy/. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.62.2.34 (talk) 23:07, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

Suffering from Dementia?

This story may be a hoax. I've been trying to find any verification, other than this website article (which is highly suspicious) and found nothing to corroborate the claim that Helen has dementia. [1] MrEguy | ♠♥♣♦ 21:33, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

CONVERSION

interesting and nice fact that she converted to judaism

but in that article nothing about the reason !

Why she converted ? Because she tought it is a nice religion or does this has more to do with the fact that she was or is married to a jewish man ? Especially jewish men are very picky when it comes to marry a woman and beeing jewish is very important... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.7.50.47 (talk) 15:15, 14 February 2016 (UTC)

More free photos of Helen Reddy in the 21st century is needed

To those reading this, I have added a notice that we should have more free photos of Helen Reddy, preferably in the 2000s to present. The Women's March in Los Angeles and her book tour should be easy to tackle down; but not just that. A concert photo of a contemporary Helen is also needed to depict her comeback from her retirement, and then have it incorporated here. We do have a 1990s photo and 2000s of Helen on Wikimedia Commons, but it would not accurately reflect Reddy in the 21st century in the article, and that the image provided is too small, respectively.Misterpither (talk) 15:43, 6 May 2018 (UTC)
