I'll have a good solid go at getting references and information for this - it's amazing how little info there is on Western Australian locations in standard libraries and the like! The context suggests it followed from but was not itself part of the Whitford Development Scheme - I'd also like to find out a bit of pre-settlement history. MRS 10/1 loosely suggests that it was Lot M1513 of Swan Location 1370, and the survey map for that location at SRO may give some clues. Orderinchaos78 14:06, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Any plaque at the Sail Terrace rec centre indicating when it was first opened? The park that contains it was one of the first two gazetted in the suburb in 1976.
