It's rather hard to see how it would be inherently all that notable even if it were well-cited. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a gossip mill.  Xihr  10:40, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: [1][2][3] — Category:African-American artists is a non-diffusing subcat of Category:American artists, but not all subcats of Category:American artists are non-diffusing. In particular, for example, Heather Hunter is a member of Category:21st-century American painters, which is diffusing subcat of Category:21st-century American artists, which is a diffusing subcat of Category:American artists by century, which is a diffusing subcat of Category:American artists.
