Restructuring of HCC's Wikipedia presence edit

There has been a good deal of editing and undoing done by bots and admins regarding the Early College content on the HCC Wikipedia page. Please understand that we are simply trying to clear the slate and reorient the content presented here to be more objective. The content being removed is subjective and accusatory in nature, and that is not how we wish for the Early College to be presented. There are a number of responsible individuals who wish to contribute to a new page about the Early College, and they will do so on another page. This page is intended for HCC proper. Thank you. I'm sorry, but you do not have final say over what this page contains. Please do not issue edicts such as the one above. If you wish to discuss possible changes (which are apparently controversial since others keep reverting your edits), that is fine, but declaring exactly what will and will not be in this article is not something you can do. You must reach a consensus with the other editors participating on this article. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 16:12, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, Nihonjoe. Let's take a step back, then; I am new here, and I did not intend to start off on the wrong foot. I have reread the rules, and I will do my best to abide by them. OK, then, I propose the removal of the Haywood Early College High School section to a new page, and a link placed on the Haywood Community College page to the new page. At the very least, I suggest that we alter the tone of this section to make it more objective. The text currently suggests a bias against local employees, an accusation that is baseless. --Johnny B. While I am not familiar with this particular college, or the area where it is located, that section does appear to have references to a local newspaper. If you are local to the area, perhaps you could locate these articles so the citation could be more precise? Page numbers and the authors of the articles would be very helpful. I have notified the three WikiProjects listed at the top of this page that some attention is needed here. Hopefully, that will bring in a few more editors more familiar with this area. ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 16:57, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have spun out the Early College content to another page and link to it along with a brief description of the Haywood Early College. Please comment if this is an issue. Johnny B. Webmaster (talk) 18:50, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

The arboretum article was moved back into this one as there were no sources and there wasn't much content. I suggest leaving it as part of this article until the section becomes large enough to stand on its own (and has the references to back it up). ···日本穣? · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe 05:30, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please note that you need to include a valid fair use rationale for the logo (File:Hcc logo color web.png) included in this article. Failure to provide one will result in the image being deleted as a copyright violation. The template {{Non-free use rationale}} facilitates creating a use rationale with the necessary components:
