This article doesn't seem like much of an article. It looks more like something someone slapped together in a couple minutes. I cleaned it up a little bit, but it could still use some more work. It could also use some more information, for example, places where the phrase "Hasta la vista" has been used in popular culture. Crashintome4196 04:33, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I really don't think that much more can be added to this article. Instead of deleting it, it should be merged with Terminator 2: Judgment Day because that's where it came from, and not much more can be said about it. Crashintome4196 20:01, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Actually, according to Looking for a New Love, the phrase is from a 1987 hit by Jody Watley. I hadn't heard this before and it seems like the redirect to T2 is inappropriate. I'm changing the redirect for now, but maybe a disambiguation page is better. Granburguesa 19:33, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

The use of this phrase (in English) dates back much further than these two examples. It was used in the TV Series "Batman" (1966) by the cowboy "Shame" (Cliff Robertson), who says "Hasta la vista, Pardner" as he leaves Batman to his fate at the cliffhanger of the episode "Come Back, Shame". It wouldn't surprise me if there were plenty of earlier usages on record. The claims that it "originated" in Terminator 2 are completely wrong. 86.7.21.237 (talk) 19:09, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Why won't this translate ?

Google Translate will not translate this from Spanish to English. It only translates from Galician or Catalan as "Bye". Anyone have any idea why ? Darkman101 (talk) 04:56, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
