W.C. Fields edit
The skits and persona of Harry Tate were a big influence on W. C. Fields when he was making the transition from silent juggler to talking comedian. Reviews of Field's first appearance in the Zigfield Follies in the 20's remark on this. M B-G 203.171.196.65 (talk) 09:57, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

My grandmother used to refer to the place she lived, a particularly dark and labyrinthine apartment block as "Harry Tate flats". Does anyone have any idea what this is a reference to? She lived there from the 1940s to the 1960s, in Cardiff.
